OVERVIEW \ ancient convent turned 2 bedroom apartment starting at $350

Superbly located in the historic center of Salerno, this charming apartment is set in an ancient Convent that was converted into a noble residence in 1600. Through its restoration, thick wall plastering and frescoes dating back to the 17th century were discovered, and together with the prominent high wooden beam ceilings and spectacular views extending to the sea, create a one of a kind space steeped in history. The unique room is beautifully furnished with hand-made furniture and contemporary pieces that compliment the open apartment. The surrounding cobblestone streets are lined with restaurants, cafes and shops, creating a lively atmosphere right outside your door. It is the perfect launching point to explore the infamous Amalfi Coast, easily reachable by the nearby bus stop of ferry.

There are two bedrooms with double beds, as well as two sofa beds available to sleep a total of 6 people. Both bedrooms are spacious and bright with large windows that open to petite balconies and views that extend to the stunning Amalfi Coast. Tile floors, plastered walls and beam ceilings are accented by a mix of vintage and contemporary decor.

The main living area is equipped with a kitchen, large sofa, and dining area, once again accented by large windows that allow the fresh breeze to flow through the space.
