Sleeping up to 12 people, La Spinetta also has a large pool, a sunken trampoline as well as a games area which makes it ideal for families. The two sleeping wings of 5 bedrooms surround the fountain courtyard and are all beautifully decorated. One room features an antique french upholstered bed and carved oak armoire and another has an en-suite bathroom with a deep copper free standing bath.

The living room has a large open fireplace and seating area with vast recessed TV. The other end has a lovely desk and leads into the large, professionally equipped kitchen and dining area.

Private House includes pool and garden, in addition to 15 acres of olive groves around the house.

A car is essential because it is a rural property.

The house is suitable for small children but note that the swimming pool is not fenced off. Small children must be supervised at all times.


The Salento area is home to some of Italy's loveliest towns and cities, the seafront fortified gems of Galliopoli and Otranto, the baroque cities of Lecce and Galatina, and the luxurious seaside towns of Leuca and Santa Cesarea Terme. There are also many small towns off the tourist trail worth visiting for their unspoilt hisotirc centers and unassuming genuiness.

Beaches and Boat Tours - the coastline of The Salento is long and varied, including white sandy beaches, karstic grottoes, chalk cliffs and salt-water lagoons. The closest beach is just 10 minutes away. Boat trips can be arranged by your concierge.

With the landscape of Southern Puglia being predominantly flat, it is ideal to explore the countryside by bicycle. Small roads weave through the olive groves and small towns, making it a popular way to explore for tourists.
