Mango Bay is a small eco-resort on the island of Phu Quoc in Southern Vietnam. There are 40 bungalows & rooms spread along 1 km of beach, surrounded by 20 hectares of indigenous forest & garden, giving a sense of space and seclusion. Designed to celebrate nature, peace and quiet, the bungalows and rooms are constructed of natural materials from the island (ie. no ac or phones). The interiors are beautifully decorated, most having an outdoor bathroom.
NOTEWORTHY
The Beach Bar is the only place to be at sunset, sipping a Basil Beach (made up by moi - who would have thought tequila and basil!). The food & atmosphere at the main restaurant is truly one of a kind.
