OVERVIEW \ modern terrace tree villas starting at $500

Perched above the lush Ayung River Valley is the hilltop boutique resort of Alila Ubud. It is the perfect mix of contemporary design and Balinese architecture, with secluded courtyards, spacious terraces and private gardens. Creating a village atmosphere, Alila Ubud consists of 14 two-storey wood and river stone block houses offering 68 rooms with panoramic views as well as 3 types of villas to choose from. The newly renovated Terrace Tree Villas are absolutely spectacular - the modern and spacious feel of the rooms juxtaposed by the lush, tropical jungle is incredible.

As with all Alila properties, Alila Ubud has a standard of service like no other. The staff always greeted us with huge smiles and continually went above and beyond in making our stay as comfortable as possible.

Eco-friendly - the resort is Green Globe certified, recycles extensively and is closely involved with green initiative and community support programs.

The open-air restaurant, Plantation, serves up Balinese and Western dishes, all locally sourced where possible (we suggest you try the Authentic Dinner, which is a tasting of traditional Balinese food, all of which was incredible).

The newly designed Cabana Lounge overlooks the iconic infinity pool and offers breathtaking views of the valley. The open-air lounge is absolutely spectacular in its design and service - we recommend enjoying it during pool time hours as well as after sundown!

The Alila Ubud Spa is out of this world - a must experience!

Other amenities include an art gallery, library and tv lounge, boutique, complimentary shuttle to Ubud, concierge, in-room dining,  free wifi, His and Her Living Amenities and laundry service.
