Steeped in history and rich lore (it was rumored to be constructed for the head of a major studio as a getaway for himself and his two mistresses), this 5 bedroom private home is located in an idyllic location in South Palm Springs - out of the wind with wrap-around mountain views in a quiet residential area, yet walking distance to many of Palm Springs' favorites. Built in 1948, this spectacular mid- century home has recently been renovated with all its systems upgraded to the modern era while paying tribute to its unique architectural origins and extensively decorated with exquisite vintage pieces from the owners’ private collection in harmony with its original design.

This unique property is ideal for larger groups with its 5 separate bedrooms (the main house has one bedroom/en suite bath/gourmet kitchen/living room/indoor-outdoor bar/half bath, the second building has two separate suites, each with 2 bedrooms, a kitchenette, fullbathroom and a private patio with an outdoor shower).

The pool is salt water (solar heated) with an in-ground spa.

What makes this property even more fabulous is the incredible hosts! If you are lucky enough, you may get to meet Aaron and Garret during your stay, but at the very least, they will always be available to help with anything you need.

436 Avienda Olancha is in South Palm Springs, close to everything, but removed enough to feel you are away from it all.
