Located in the center of the historical medina of Marrakech, this exquisite riad was lovingly restored by Sarah and Grégoire, a French-Belgian couple, who fell under the charm of the Marrakech Medina 12 years ago. For their latest find, Riad 42, the architectural elements were maintained, while creating a minimalist style that elicits a sense of well-being. Upon entering the elegant guesthouse, one immediately feels a sense of calm, surrounded by a soft neutral palette with grounding dark grey accents, featuring warm woods and hand-woven textiles. The charming 5 room guesthouse is a perfect mix of traditional architecture with modern elements, inspiring serenity in the middle of a bustling medina.
ROOMS
The Riad has 3 double rooms and 2 suites. All the rooms are bright with high ceilings and traditional architectural elements, furnished with natural tones, wood accents, and woven tapestries and textiles. All the rooms have en-suite Tadelakkt bathrooms with shower, wc, an hair dryer, a safe for personal use and storage spaces. All rooms are air conditioned.

RATES
The double rooms start at $110, the suites start at $145 per night for 2 persons, and includes breakfast, but does not include city taxes at $3/night/person.
The entire riad is also available to rent in entirety for groups of family or friends. For 10 people, the entire riad is $630/night which includes breakfast but excludes city taxes of $3/person/night). An additional bed can be added to each of the 2 suites, accommodating a maximum of 12 people at $690/night + city taxes.
NEED TO KNOW
For your first visit in the medina, we recommend to book their taxi driver from the airport (20min to the Riad). The taxi will drop you at the Place of "Mokef". There, a man with a carrossa for your luggage (a hand drawn cart), will lead you the remaining 300m to the Riad.
WORTH CHECKING OUT
Marrakech's old medina is filled with famous Marrakech Souks (5 min walk) and other places of interest, such as Medersa Ben Youssef, the Museum of Marrakech, The Photo Museum, the Dar El Bacha Palace, Jmaa El Fna Square, Bahia Palace and Ferblantier Square as well as a lot of delicious restaurants and traditional hammans.
Day trips to the Ourika Valley, the coastal, UNESCO World Heritage town of Essaouira and the impressive waterfalls 150km north of Marrakech, Cascades dOuzoud.
