Located in the Palmeraie area of Marrakech, just a short taxi ride from the hustle and bustle of the Medina and renowned Jemaa-el Fnaa Square, Dar Zemora is a lovely country villa surrounded by orange and lemon trees, palms, roses, oleander and bourgainvillea. With 2 suites and 3 bedrooms in the main house, there is also a private Pavillion Suite nested in the gardens with its own private pool. Relax in one of the large sitting rooms with comfortable sofas and lounge chairs, or chill out in the fan room, with its swaying drapes, floor cushions and low tables, or lounge the day away beside the enticing pool. The English owners have done an incredible job in creating a discreet haven that allows you to be as social or as private as you want. Perhaps they have overly succeeded, because you won't want to leave this idyllic retreat!
NOTEWORTHY
All of the rooms are unique in their design and features, beautifully furnished with a romantic feel. Bed-side tables upholstered in leather, rattan headboards, ceramic vases with roses. Some rooms have roof terraces, fireplaces for atmosphere, king size four poster beds and hand-painted ceilings. There are several terraces to take lunch or a romantic dinner in the grounds including beside the large swimming pool with its teak beds and umbrellas.
Other amenities include: Hammam, massage room, aromatherapy and reflexology, Library, WiFi (limited to bedrooms, Fan Room and Library) AC. IPod docks and DVD players are available on request.

NEED TO KNOW
Dar Zemora can arrange transfers from Marrakech airport and locally along with other excursions.
Well behaved children are allowed although it is more suited to a more romantic setting.
There is a set menu, but with prior notice, they can accommodate special dietary requirements.
Two course Lunch is served daily. Dinner is a modern Moroccan three course each evening except Sunday when a more traditional 4 course dinner is served.
IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD...
The Palmeraie area of Marrakech is a residential area consisting of large houses within high walls. Taxis are required for any outside activity.
