Daylesford is known as one of Australia's 'spa towns', with numerous spas, restaurants and galleries alongside the beautiful gardens and lakes. Here are a few highlights:
Gourmet Larder Cafe and Delicatessen – situated in Daylesford’s main street boasts a delicious array of fine meats, cheese and local produce and is open for breakfast and lunch. It was the perfect cafe for our Sunday brunch.Amazing Mill Markets – you will find a selection of vintage clothes, vintage furniture, collectables, antiques, memorabilia, home decor, fine china, art, glass, coins, jewellery, books and records to name a few things.Amazing Mill Market is located at 105 Central Springs Road, Daylesford.
Wombat Hill House at Daylesford Botanical Gardens – offering simple seasonal food, sourced locally wherever possible and served in one of Daylesford’s most beautiful locations. We enjoyed a light lunch and some delicious craft beers and cocktails.
The broader area around the town and to the north, including Hepburn Springs, is known for its natural springs mineral spas.
