Located on the border of Daylesford and Hepburn Springs, the charming 2 bedroom house and 1 bedroom studio are surrounded by willow, pine and fruit trees on an acre of land with gorgeous views extending over the Wombat State Forest and Doctor's Gully. Originally an 1860's miner's cottage, the home has been lovingly restored and re-designed by Kali Cavanagh, bringing new life to the house by highlighting the original features and furnishing with antiques, vintage and industrial furniture and artwork from around the globe. Guests can enjoy luxurious open plan living in the main house with a large 18th Century dining table, industrial chairs and banquette, as well as a spacious moody lounge room with 3m high ceilings, an open fireplace and chesterfield sofas. With such inviting indoor spaces and outdoor seating on the verandah and table for 12, the hardest part will be deciding where to relax with your glass of wine!

The Grey room features a queen size bed, Bedouin Societe linens and vintage furniture.
Nestled in among the large trees in the back, the garden studio features a queen size bed with Bedouin Societe linens, claw foot bath, separate toilet and original wood floors and beams.

It was the perfect cafe for our Sunday brunch.Amazing Mill Markets – you will find a selection of vintage clothes, vintage furniture, collectables, antiques, memorabilia, home decor, fine china, art, glass, coins, jewellery, books and records to name a few things.Amazing Mill Market is located at 105 Central Springs Road, Daylesford.
Wombat Hill House at Daylesford Botanical Gardens – offering simple seasonal food, sourced locally wherever possible and served in one of Daylesford’s most beautiful locations. We enjoyed a light lunch and some delicious craft beers and cocktails.
The broader area around the town and to the north, including Hepburn Springs, is known for its natural springs mineral spas.
